It’s that time of year again, and it seems that no matter how many times the message is spread and horrifying stories are shared, no one ever learns their lesson. So here it is, one more time, for the record: DON’T LEAVE YOUR DOG IN A HOT CAR. Recently a thirteen year old boy in Prestwich, England noticed a dog trapped in a car without even the windows cracked.
The boy moved quickly to help the dog out, and the pooch was so excited that he jumped up and down at the sight of someone who might be able to save him. The dog was so desperate to get out of the heat of the car that he jumped straight through the driver’s side window and hung himself with his leash.
The boy barely managed to get the leash unhooked in time to save the dog’s life. Seriously, take your dogs with you or leave them at home. The car isn’t for them. Share this important message with everyone you know.
